Large vintage SAINT CYPRIAN OF ANTIOCH and JUSTINA Orthodox Altar Icon

I'm very pleased to offer this large St. Cyprian of Antioch and Justina altar icon for sale.

A unique, vintage artwork piece -- I acquired this several years ago from a dealer of religious antiques from Bulgaria, if I recall, and it is the first in a collection of ritual and devotional altar items that I am selling.

This icon is large -- approx 40cm tall by 30cm and 2cm thick. I am unaware of its age or how it was made exactly but it appears to be painted on a thin canvas which is then mounted on a wooden backboard. The varnish / glaze is textured and cracked in several places commensurate with age and it has picked up a few scratches over the years but it really is a stunning, unique altar artwork.
